The Rotary Club of Oakland Sunrise has participated in many international projects around the world. These have included:

Kokrobite Health Clinic:
Oakland Sunrise Rotary has raised funds for the moderization of a rural medical clinic, outside Accra, Ghana. Our projects include the living quarters for the nurses, and the drilling of a well for on-demand, safe drinking water.

World Wide Polio Eradication:
Our members have participate in trips to immunize the world's children against polio, still rampart in third world countries.

The Wheelchair Foundation:
Oakland Sunrise Rotary has been involved in the distribution of wheelchairs to people lacking mobility in Mexico, Chile, Ghana, and Costa Rica

Rotoplast:
Our members are also involved in Rotoplast International. The goal of Rotaplast International is to eliminate the incidence of untreated cleft lips and palates in children worldwide by the year 2025. OSR members do this by participating in medical missions to provide surgical intervention for children who are not able to receive treatment or who are in need of more complicated medical procedures than can be provided by local physicians.
