Oakland Sunrise Rotary sponsors two community service clubs:
Skyline High School Interact Club:
These Interactors are taking on such projects as clean water projects, wheelchair foundation.

The Independent Living Skills Interact Club:
As the first community-based interact in Rotary International, these young people have already started out strong. Some projects have included collecting donations at Christmas, etc. Last year two young person went to Ghana to participate in the international program of RYLA

Annual Youth Speech Contest:
This Rotary contest involves our youth to promote confidence in public speaking.

RYLA:
The Rotary Club of Oakland Sunrise donates scholarships for high schoolers to attend this leadership awards camp in the Santa Cruz area every year.

Dictionary Distribution:
Every year Oakland Sunrise Rotary distributes dictionaries to third grade students at Think College Now, an elementary school in the Oakland community
